Mumbai Walks Fest 2024 

A few months back, Mumbai saw the third season of the Mumbai Walks Fest.
With 21 walks spread over 3 days, the tours in this festival focused on finding new ways to look at, think about, and talk about the maddening city of Bombay.

About the walk leaders
Curated by The Inheritage Project, this walking fest was led by some of the best walk leaders in the scene! This group included Deepali Furtado, Alisha Sadikot, Yooti Bhansali, Priyanko Sarkar, Zoya Kathawala, Akanksha Gupta, Sananda Mukhopadhyaya & Daniel. 

About the walks 
All the tours centred around incredible storytelling and focused on the rich history of different areas like Dadar, Colaba, Kamathipura, Ballard Estate, Tardeo which is layered and interwoven with the fabric of Mumbai at large. From chaotic streets to serene lanes, these walking tours spread across different terrains acted as the perfect, most poignant way to explore Mumbai.
