With a loyal, engaging community & a diverse range of incredible partners hosting with us, we think we have a good idea of how immersive experiences and events are going to look in the new year.
Wellness, health & rejuvenation π§πΎββοΈ
Activities surrounding wellness & health aren't new but we see more and more people wanting to get into working on their body & mind through different activities. Think immersive sound bath sessions, breathwork workshops to start the day, digital detox afternoons with nutritious food, zen gardening, and kalaripayattu workshops that are designed to help people connect with themselves better.

Partners like Studio by Copper + Cloves (Blr), Zuva Life (Blr), The Kalari Movement (Blr), Ksaraah Community (Blr) are to look out for in 2025.
Festivals that aren't just festivals π₯
While straightforward music festivals & culinary festivals still draw big crowds, there has also been an interest in alternative festivals through the years that is only going to get bigger in 2025. Take The Nilgiris Earth Festival, a 4-day celebration of food, culture, and ecology of the glorious Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve through meals, walks & workshops. Or The Feminine Wave, a weekend overlooking Varkala's cliffs with self-exploratory workshops, full moon yoga and ecstatic dance nights.

People are hoping to walk away from a festival not just with memories of great performances and food but learning something new about the world or themselves.
Other festivals that you must check out in 2025 include anything by On The Jungle Floor (Blr), Mangrooves Sessions with Pondy Yacht Club (Pondi), and The Great Mango Festival at the Hanu Reddy Farms (Chennai).
Walking tours to discover a city πΆπ½ββοΈ
There's nothing like discovering a city by foot and much like previous years, walking tours exploring different themes are only getting more popular.
But apart from your run-of-the-mill guided walking tours, passionate individuals are hosting art gallery hops, photography tours, historical explorations of iconic sites, marine walks, poetry walks, food walks and many more thematic rediscovering of cities in unique ways.

Don't miss out on walks by Sikkawala (Del), Unzip Delhi (Del), Art & Wonderment (Mum), Yash Sheth (Mum), Bengaluru by Foot (Blr), Blue City Walks (Jodhpur), Dilli Poetry (Del), The Kochi Heritage Project (Kochi), Zoya Kathawala (Mum), Wildnest (Mum) in 2025.
Community building with likeminded people π€π½π€π½
From run clubs to meals with strangers, the post-pandemic world has seen a rise in community-driven experiences across cities and 2025 is going to be no different.
If you're looking to meet new likeminded people in your city, consider quality meals with strangers like the ones curated by The High Table, silent reading circles or book exchanges with Bookmark App Co, wine tastings with Viva La Vino, boardgame & crossword quiz nights at Underline Center are great places to join in 2025.
Food with a difference π½οΈ
2024 was the year of thoughtfully curated culinary pop-ups by chefs with stories behind the meal, learning more about processes and indulging in spectacular food.

The Food Nerd Festival curated by Goya Journal, Edible Issues & Two Tigers Co is one such example. With hands-on workshops revolving around themes inspired by 'Salt, Acid, Fat & Heat' led by an all-star cast of chefs, this was a playground for food nerds.

The Feast in the Fields (an Urbanaut Original) curated by Fazenda Cazulo is another one. This lovely community-style experience included a lovely live cellist, a rice harvest as you enjoyed a landlordβs feast, and delicious feni cocktails all while you learnt the legacy behind it all with the best host, Hansel Vaz.
An honourable mention is paChaak, India's first immersive theatrical dinner where guests are transported to the 1940s through a meal and theatre set in a stunning colonial house. They've sold out all their shows since they've gone live! Don't miss their dates in 2025.
Hobbies, workshops & hands-on classes βπ½
With the rise in doom scrolling & saturated phone usage, people are looking to learn something that is kinetic, distracting & creative.

Linocut printing, screen-printing, pottery dates, perfume making, botanical illustration classes, crochet classes; the list goes on. Creatively curious people want to try their hand at a new hobby or just want to spend time differently alone or with a friend, we're here for it!
Look out for future workshops curated by Artwala House (Mum), Mitti Pottery (Mum), Flourish Bakery (Blr), and The Looroo Club (Blr) to name a few.
